Recently I was contacted by a potential client, but as I did my usual research on him, he turned out to be a rather active scamme tis the season to be scammin' tralalala..lala..la.UPDATE!!!
As suspected, :iconcirus8: would appear to be none other than the infamous scammer and rip off con artist Josh Hoopes...!

SAY NO TO SCAMMERS

Welle Well Well.
I'm not used to dramas, but this particular time, i will do one.
First : sorry for my bad english

I will talk about . As a disclaimer, I will warn that I'll post names images, so if you presence in it worries you, jus t tell me and i'll remove it.
So that's the story.

I will assume DK950 is a girl, as said on profile
Last week, i got a commission request by this person for a ref sheet. i'm a kind guy and i didn't was really suspicious. Dk950 wanted me to draw the ref sheet for "her character" using bokuman's work as a reference. ( [link] ). She also gave me this file as a ref [link] .
I found odd that  all the chracater was inked but not the hands /sword part, but i accepted the request for a 70€ charge. which shoul be paid, as usual after the sketch part.

At the same time, my friends and got commission request too from DK950. Mellenium-argentic was asked for a fullbody, and Halouette for a ref sheet, pretty much like mine ( full armore froint/back full armor with helmet and bokuman's armore front ) Halouette was asked of bokuman's armor back too. As I know both two well, we chatted on msn about that, finding this pretty odd, but not impossible, so we all started to work on this.

I'm a dedicated Artist, and most of the time, commissions goes before anything else, so i worked hard on sketch and gave dk950 a sketch ( [link]  on monday. She asked me corrections and wanted suddently a spécific helm design, or if i prefered another pose (she gave me this ref : [link] ) .
AS I love challence i accepted and I did he pose on tuesday. (as show here : [link] ) But there were some strange thing crossing my mind, because the two refs were supposed to be drawn by her ( [link] and [link] ) and something in my mind told me "it can't be the same artist who did those two things! "
As the price was not changed, I gave my paypal adress to dk950 and asked milly and halouette if they were paid. Milly as show a sketch, but get not paid, and houlette didn't gave anything that far, so she wasn't paid too.
Dk950 said me she was happy of the sketchs and will pay me asap, and asked for minor corrections.
As i liked the sketch i decided to begin inking, regardless of payment, i often do that, but all the time ( except for people I trust) i wait for payment to show more .

On wenesday, Milly, Houlette and me weren't paid at all. and we begin to feel there was something wrong about this.
We decided to investigate a lillte and Milly and halouette found that Dk950 commissionned both and in the past few days too. I know there's commissionners that do big batchs commissions request, but fot dk950 I just can't believed it aws the case.

But something more interresting caught my attention : [link]
Krymus was commissioned for a work, finishjed it on may 11, but dk95
answered him only on july 14 and there was no commission for her in krymus gallery.

Feeling the bad smell of scam I searched deeper. And I found :

-DK950 as already been reported as and art thief on some WOW groups by ( [link] and [link] )
[you don't even imagine how much i'm thankful katrika, really, because you helped me a lot! !

-Dk950 stole avatar, and asked her for a 250$ commission (and Dk950 wanted to pay AFTER commission was done )

- and were also commissionned by her, and like Milly, halouette and Me, they're still waiting payment of their commission as far as I know.

- She also asked several other people for commisssions [link] and was ditched by [link].

That's Why I write this message. If ask you for a commission, be extremely careful, becausei'm pretty surethat she's a commissionn thief who stole commissions (sketchs in the simple case, complete commissions in the worst) from artists by abusing ther commission rule and their kindness..

I've posted my sketch on my tumblr to keep the posting date trace, and Milly as done the same.
I'm still in need for testimonies about this, so

- If you were abused by her : inform people around you by linking this message and please write a comment explaining what happened, to avoid other to be scammed
- If dk950 as commissionned you, and you already draw  something, please tell us and link what you had shown to her (because she may be using other's artist skechs to claim them as her own when asking commissions to artists ) and the reference she  gave you
- If you recognise a reference please mlet me know !

I'm still investigating on this case so i need you help.
