RIFT Contest - Woods Kingby =Hedrick-CS

My entry for the RIFT - Create a Collossus DA contest

Thought I'll never finish it, it was so hard XDDD.

The concept is simple, The Core of the Woods King are the 3 Ruby, witch make the Lianas move and stick to the trunk and stones.
This way the King can change form from for exemple, an Hyena form (as on the picture), to an humanoid form or even a bird form, by linking the Lianas to create wings ^^.

I wanted hims to be scary and badass so I made him in the darkness ^^

I hope you'll like it, I don't plan to win anything, but I wanted to make an entry for the challenge ! ^^
Thanks to everyone who pushed my motivation up to make me finish it ^^

Very nice. Excellent, badass creature design. Love the knightlike look with the face and the wood aspects of his body. This was a Life Colossus, right? Not sure if the theme for Life comes together flawlessly, but it's a cool design one way or the other.
