I find that your art is quite nice, but knowing and loving superheroes I would personally say this: make the green leaves more vibrant and add more flowers. She's not all about vines, she the deadly flowers we all fall in love with as well. And make her hair lighter, but still keep it a luscious red-orange.

I would also say make a bold focal point that draws you in. I see that she is, but make something stand out. Perhaps add an eyemake-up that brings out her eyes, or a trail of flowers on the vines that leads up to her face. You heard of poisonous tree frogs? They are absolutely beautiful and VIBRANT. Add in that vibrant aspect, cause the most beautiful of flowers are poisonous.

Poison Ivy is normally associated with an air of mystery, exotic seduction, poisons, thievery and botany. The animated cartoon and movie portrayed her this way for years. However, in your piece she is being portrayed moreso as a DeviantArt style character than anything else. By DeviantArt style character, I mean more emphasis is being put on her pose and perceived characteristic environment. Poison Ivy isn't known for the woods, wrapping herself in organic tree matter, and she is hardly something to revel in the abstract - I feel you've missed her character entirely.

But that's my opinion as a casual fan.

Your piece is great compared to what I'm normally seeing. Abstract background done with fluid feel for colors with no lines to assert separation of objects - this is rare in digital art unless it is a painting. Deliberate attention has been paid to lighting the tops of the trees before sinking to a more dark and monotone bottom. The main character is robust in both detail and exceptional skill with shading and illumination used in tandem. I don't ever recall seeing the two used in tandem on DeviantArt - the norm seems to be illumination in the background, not the central character and foreground.

Poison Ivy here looks nothing short of being 'Queen of the Woods' and probably has something nasty in store for anyone that would dare venture too far from city parks.
